Yes, I lnow. I have had both, and now we have the beauty of the Arabian in a
horse who can and will go on down the trail like no show ring champ ever did.
You are probably correct - the dispoability attitude regarding animals is
quite prevalent, and it is clear that many people consdier that if one cheap
horse won't do it, toss him aside and try another cheap horse. Good thing our
mortgage doesn't depend upon that basal mentality. Since we plan to live with
each horse, we must admire and truly love them. Perhaps we are so different.
The second best horse I ever owned was a plug-ugly Icelandic cross who was
short and snotty and the most awesome competitor ever! The best horse I ever
had I still have! Our old Fadjur mare, the epitome of the Arabian horse, an
athlete and my second best friend (my hubby, you know!).
