The decision whether or not to remove recreational EQUESTRIAN access and
cattle grazing from the San Francisco watershed lands may occur as early as
the MARCH 4, 1997 Public Utilities Commission Public Hearing so this is the
time to get your letters, call and faxes to the PUC and to the Mayor of San
Francisco ASAP.

If horseback riding is eliminated from this watershed, it will make it easier
for other watershed managers to do the same. Many watershed managers would
prefer NO public access of any type and this would be a first step down that
slippery slope.
