Saddle Horn.. yeah I did this back in the 70's only had horns.. I cut it off
flush with the top of the fork- tree. Covered the cut with a piece of leather
and laced on ..
was fine..
I also cut the thick side flaps off made a rounded skirt saddle -very
small.. lost about 7 lbs i think

Rigged it in V rig using the rear ginch rings to the front rings..could set
the rigging to mid point ..kep the back of the saddle down.

Carol rode that saddle for about 5 years.. did the od 100 in it..looked rough
but it worked and fit the horse
