I own 2 Morgans currently. My 16 yr. gelding is great on CTR's! I
compete against a lot of Arabs, but always do well. He is heavier built,but
that doesn't make a difference if he's conditioned. My 2 yr. filly is more
streamlined, and she shows great promise for CTR's and eventually
endurance. My girlfriend has a 19 yr. Morgan mare that she wins with all
the time on CTR's and compattative driving. As long as you take the time to
condition properly, there's no reason you shouldn't do well. My horses seem
to always gain in mountain areas. My boy isn't as fast on the flat. My
filly looks like that won't matter to her. Good luck. Morgans do it all!
