True, but LSD is the FOUNDATION..it creates the strong bone, it stretches and
develops the muscle and adds stresses gradually is you add speed gradually,
but FIRST add distance..this adds stress SLOWLY. A horse (or any athlete)
can only survive speed if the body is ready..the body does not get ready for
speed overnight. A foundation MUST be laid FIRST! Teddy

I AGREE WITH THIS WHOLE HEARTEDLY. THINK ABOUT IT...HOW MANY OF you WOULD
RUN A MARATHON FOR SPEED IF YOU HAD NOT STARTED WITH JOGGING LONG DISTANCES
AND WORKED UP TO RUNNING. COME ON PEOPLE, USE SOME COMMON SENSE! HORSE
ARE not MACHINES!!!!! TRAIN THEM APPROPRIATELY AND IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND
THAT THEN THE BEST PLACE TO START IS BY PUTTING YOURSELF IN THEIR PLACE.
COULD YOU DO IT (NOT RIDING BUT WALKING)??? THEN THERE IS A VERY GOOD
POSSIBILITY YOUR TRAINING PARTNER (HORSE) CANNOT EITHER. THINK LOGICALLY
AND USE COMMON SENSE. HORSES HAVE BIG HEARTS AND WILL DO MANY THINGS TO
PLEASE THEIR RIDERS, SO DON'T MISUSE THEIR TRUST AND LOVE BY ACTING
IRRESPONSIBLY
