Stiff Neck

Hi Group- I'm having a problem maybe someone can help me with. My horse
has responded adversely to either the adequan in a shot or the shot nicked
something in his neck. It was done by a vet (not me, thank goodness) and
bled slightly afterwards. It took about 2 weeks to show up but now his
neck is very hard and swollen on that side, with all the typical symptoms
of a sore neck. We're treating him with bute, dmso laced with ?, a muscle
relxant, and pregnasone. The swelling is down some, and of course the
behavior better on bute (we've been treating him for a week already), but
it is still hard and swollen.Any advice greatly appreciated!Thanks in
advance!
