I have some first-hand experience with a purebred arab with a horn in his
forehead.

Six years ago, i bred my CMK mare to a local stallion Crabbet/Egyption.
The resulting colt had a protrusion from his forehead and a large tuft of
hair coming out of it which eventually blended in with his forelock. I
called him my "little unicorn". He was a really sweet little fellow and
very small when born but grew to be about 15.1 or 15.2.

A gal who had trained his sire, fell in love with the little fellow and
wound up buying him when he grew up. Later, she said he was the smartest
horse she had ever trained. He is also extreemly beautiful and has
excellent conformation.

I wonder if the intelligence, as also observed in the Moyles, has any
genetic link to the forhead horn?
