Yes, yes. I think the problem arises when there is a lack of understanding on
the part of the rider as to what a horse is capable of. They have relatively
small brains as you know, and only experience and excellemtn training can
provide the confidence on the part of the rider - and the horse! You guys are
good with yours, and quite responsible. Some are not. I have ridden Harlot in
a halter, in fact, in her youth, I rode her in a neck rope. I don't think I
would do that now. Hmmm. Having kids puts you in mind of your own mortality,
I think!
