Just wanted to thank everybody who replied to my query about how
important the exposure to nature on rides is to them as they share a
journey with their horse.
The article will be in the Summer, 1997 issue of the Virginia Explorer,
the quarterly publication of the Virginia Museum of Natural History. I
will post it on the museum's Web site and then post the URL on the list
for anyone who wants to take a look. The article also includes
background information on endurance and CT.
Anyone who contributed will be sent a few free copies, if you send me
your snail mail address.
Also--I have a 1996 grey colt by our Crabbet/Egyptian stallion out of
our *Silver Vanity daughter for sale. He should be at least 15.1--was
born big, and keeps getting bigger. He is very elegant, has a long
stride, and a very level-headed, affectionate nature. We are not gelding
him--he's too good--but his purchaser, of course, can make that
decision. Very pretty head, excellent legs, well-balanced body. Very
reasonable. He's in the Crabbet, Virginia, and Region XV Futurities.
Please e-mail me off the list if interested. We're in Virginia near the
North Carolina border.
