Hi, all,

Someone mentioned that Moyle horses have "horns". Some more information
on that...my copy of "Hoofprints in Time" (no, it's not for sale, thank you)
has a chapter about Moyles, and the horns are really quote "knobby
protuberances over the eyes". They called them 'dragon points'. The author
states that the dragon points are due to a "throwback to some
ancestor-mutant, perhaps; however, they could also be due to a long period of
inbreeding."
I have to go with the inbreeding tack, though I am not a geneticist, I
can't think of any other breed, existant or not, that was noted for having
dragon points.
Nevertheless, what a neat thing to see-horns on a horse!!!!!!!!!!!
God help us if someone starts breeding for longhorn horses..........of
course, then he can hold his own bridle while you are cleaning
it..............

I have not accessed the WAHO page but.................why? is the AHRA
being kicked out of it? (maybe Americans got tired of bankrolling WAHO?)
