Choosing a Horse

I never thought buying the right horse would be soooo hard. I admit I
am being very specific and choosey. My feeling is that I don't HAVE to
have a horse, I WANT a horse and I want just the right one. Having a
tall horse is important to me and I have been "suckered" twice into
spending money (once for an out-of-state vet check, and another to fly
to another state) on horses who were a lot shorter then the owners
promised me!(That was not the only reason I didn't buy)
I saw a horse yesterday who was perfect in every way EXCEPT her
pasterns. They were very long and weak. Needless to say, I follow the
"no foot, no horse" saying. I also remember the one who had straight,
stick pasterns that weren't noticable on the video. And there's another
mare I really like but I keep having second thoughts on her dippy back,
high hocks and croup, although everything else is perfect.
Maybe YOU can help me!? If you know of, have, or have seen an ad that
meets my specifications please e-mail me. I prefer to stay in CA,
AZ,WA,OR, or NV.
Now, for those of you who say color doesn't matter, please note, I
have my reasons. This horse is not just an endurance prospect but will
be part of the family and doing other things beside endurance.
My horse: 15.1 - 15.3 Chestnut Arab Mare
