Hello Suzanne,
You wrote on 22Jan97 asking about a equine chiropractor located around the
San Francisco Bay Area. We are really lucky to have outstanding vets that do
this and accupuncture in this area. The first two that come to mind are
Nancy Elliot ,DVM, and Mitch Benson. Dvm. Dr.Elliot was the assistant team
vet for the U.S. at the 96 World's and is also a ride vet and an outstanding
endurance rider. Dr. Benson was the U.S. head vet at the ride and also is
the head vet for Tevis. I'm not sure if he does chiro&accupunture, but he
could probably steer you in the right direction. Also in the area is
Cassandra Schuler , DVM who could also help you. Dr. Elliot's and Dr.
Benson's phone numbers are on the inside front cover of Endurance News. I'm
not sure of Dr. Schuler's phone number. I use both accupuncture and
chiropractic for tune-ups for my endurance horses, and for maintenance of my
