Mentor needed in NJ/Pa

Is there anyone out there who is experienced in starting a young horse in
distance conditioning in the NJ/Pa region? I would love to have
a veteran (who knows all the places to train), whom I could actually speak to
and possibly ride with sometimes.I'm
a knowledgeable horse person with years of education and experience with
horses but I have not started a youngster with the express purpose of
conditioning for endurance racing/riding. Reading all the good advice here is
helpful but it's still very difficult for newbies who -Amykeep their horses at
home and don't have access to real people who have experience. How about
a Big Brother/Big Sister program for endurance racing?
