Big Horn vs SS (and Orthoflex)

My friend has a Big Horn saddle and really likes it. She rode the Tevis on
her POA in it. (I thought the seat was very HARD.)

My husband has an Orthoflex saddle (Western type - not endurance), he likes
it very much. Mike Tomlinson, DVM notes some rubbing on the endurance horses
though... as they build up more muscle (?)... that he attributes to the
design of the Orthoflexs. I just heard that Orthoflex is trimming the tree
back even more (didn't they already do that once for Arabs), but don't know
if that's true or if its just for their endurance models. Anybody out there
heard more on this? Mike - anything you want to add?

SS saddles - are they really that good? Mini survey: 1) what were you
riding in before you switched 2) what differences have you noticed on
saddle fit to your horse 3) and to your seat?

Just FYI - I'm riding in a Baines Endurance (English type) saddle now - from
England.

Thanks!!
