O.k. group here goes. In my search for a well broke horse for my daughter I
went out to look at an approx. 6 year old arab. He is around 14.3 bay with
a pretty face, star, stripe, snip, three white sox, great conformation, not
underfed but not well cared for. He has a super comfy trot that you can sit
nicely to if you want and a very willing attitude. He hasn't been ridden in
months, a first time horse owner bought him and I think he may of been too
green for him so he forgot about him. But we rode and he was trying to be
good. No bucks, some spooks, easy to saddle and get on, not easy to bridle.
Yet after about 4 minutes of some resistance free methods he had his head
down for bridling. He picked up round pen basics very quick, about 20
minutes he was doing all his turns to inside and outside properly. He would
make a great experienced person's mount with about 3 weeks rework and LOTS
of conditioning, good feed, shoeing and worming too. They wanted $1000 for
him but I think he may go lower. I would buy him for a 3rd mini project but
since I already have one project, Jihad, and a teenager dieing to ride with
the local kids here, he won't do. I am going to call and make sure that if
they get to the decision of sending him off to the killers that they call
and let me make an offer first. He was living in a small 10'x12' pipe
paddock and hadn't been out of it for months. He had no hay when I got
there and he is way in the back 40 of a boarding facility and has the worse
living conditions, like they forgot about him. This is a very sweet and
willing horse guys. So think about it and let me know. His location is in
North Phoenix, AZ.
