>From what I read it was nothing like narcolepsy, he didn't roll his eyes, or
buckle under and fall asleep. He had his eyes wide open and stiffed legged
lost his balance and fell over sideways. Like he had vertigo. Does a horse
have an inner ear? Can they get vertigo like humans? Any vets want to
answer this one:}?

Thanks to all whom have answered!

Meanwhile we still trained him today in the round pen and he was totally
o.k. These resistance free methods work great. I am amazed at how quick
these arabians pick up the cues. Now he will respond to event he smallest
cue. We sacked him out today, tomorrow the saddle! Meanwhile I am learning
tons of stuff. One of the perks of having a natural/resistance free trainer
on your property is I get to follow her around all day! Plus she has an
endurance horse she is starting who is the same age and green level as Jihad
so we can condition them together when they are ready for their first ride.
Her horse is ready to test level 1 Parelli and Jihad is just learning the
games.

Hopefully we'll be at our first ride next fall. See ya then!
