Hannah, I see you are in Alabama--N. part, where are you located?
TWH's make good endurance mounts if you condition correctly. Truman
Prevatt can help you with that way more than me. His mare went to the ROC
this past year, and did very well.

as to POA's, yes they can do well. I have a friend that competed her
stallion in endurance, and he did great. I rode a very nice POA when I
was younger-smaller:-)--and he would have been excellent for the sport.
You have to condition a bit more usually than you might with an Arabian,
expecially depending on how he is built, but that might not be true if he
is built more lean than the average built POA. Still, it will not hurt
