Karen Chaton and Sandra Kendall (since they were the first), and to
everyone else on endurance net.
I certainly did not mean to offend anyone by commenting on Karen's
mention of Easyboots in her story, "Imagine a Ride Where ..." In fact,
I enjoyed Karen's story very much, and wanted to let her know that I
had taken the time to read it, and that we appreciate her support.
As far as my statement being a plug for Easyboots, you could say that
it was since I made the comment and included the fact that I work for
EasyCare. On the other hand, what I really wanted to get across is the
fact that someone from a product manufacturer actually cares what the
people who are using their products really think, and Karen even
bothering to mention Easyboots told me that Easyboots are working for
her and her horse, and I was glad to read that. Honestly, I thought
about whether or not I should have included my affiliation with my
comment about boots for quite some time before I sent my message, and
finally decided that I would so that people would know that we do pay
attention to what they have to say about our products.
To Linda and everyone else who felt that my comment was just a
marketing self plug, I apalogize. I am new to the internet and perhaps
made a statement which went against the etiquette of this forum. I
respect your opinion on this subject, but please realize that I meant
no harm, I only intended to show my support for someone who had done
likewise, and to let people know that I am out here and paying
attention to what other endurance riders have to say.
Also, thanks to Scott and everyone else who had input on this subject.

PS:
Although I recognize that no ride quite lives up to the one which Karen
presented in her piece, "Imagine a Ride," I also know how hard the
event directors, volunteers, etc., work to provide ride participants
with a quality experience. The Cuyamaca Ride & Tie that the Foster's
put on this past weekend was an excellent example of how good an event
can be when a few people really put their hearts into it.
