Big Horn saddles

Cheryl,
just read your mail about bighorn saddles. I have a fairly short-backed arab
cross
and have been riding in a BigHorn for about 2 years. I use a crupper and a
breastcollar on him, and it works fine. I'm a heavyweight endurance rider
and have used this saddle with good results on single day and multi-day
rides. However,
because of the type of tree and twist of the saddle, I know that has proven
to be quite uncomfortable for women riders. See if you could borrow one for
a couple of weeks before buying one and see how it feels. I have sheep-skin
covering all of mine and to me, its really comfortable. I also use a nylon
halter-bridle vs. biothane (personal preferance) GOOD LUCK
