I have noticed that when I switched saddles from my horse's
lightweight (17#) endurance model to his heavy roping saddle(40+#) he
walks and canters with a lowered head. No complaints, tail swishing,
soreness or white hair just a lowered head. At the canter he looks like a bloodhound.
We switch from LD to roping during the winter.
Any thoughts?
