Hi. My name is Michelle. I'm doing a project for school in which I'm going
to try to determine if storage conditions (temperature and humidity) affect
the protein content in hay (alfalfa, timothy, and clover). I was wondering
if anyone knew of specific proteins found in hay that are beneficial to
horses, or if mold and bacteria that thrive on hay (i'm sure many people
have experience with that phenomenon : ) cause a decline in protein
content. Any related information or suggestions of places to research would
