This is a question I've had in the back of my mind for awhile. I commonly
will not worm my horses with either a wormer such as Ivermectin or the
other regular paste wormers within a week of a competition either before
or after, (but mostly before) and I don't ride them the day or next day
after I give it. Am I being too conservative? I have it in my head that
the deworming is stressful on their bodies and would cause some type of
problem. I don't have a clue what the problem would be, but I'm just
careful. Could any of
the Vets on the list (I hope you're still out there) let me know what
they recomend? Thanks.
