My friend Bob Sample asked me to post a notice about a horse he has
available for lease for this year's Tom Quilty 100 in Northern Victoria,
Australia, on June 8th.
Bob has won the Quilty once, placed everywhere from 2nd to 10th, his son
Brook has won it twice and placed 8th at the world championship at the
Hague, daughter Lara won Qulty once.....these folks breed and train
incredible horses at their Sharahd Stud, and know how to prepare them for
tough 100s.

The horse is: Sharahd Carrah, 11 yr mare, used to carrying a rider with tack
weighing up to 80 kilos (1 K = 2.2 lbs: 80 K = 176 pounds). Rider may ride
with Brook on his WEG horse at the Quilty, if desired. Horse will be
delivered to race site one week prior to event; final payment after horse
passes vet exam at site.

1st place: 1996 Far-a-way 320 K. Marathon
1st place: New South Wales Championship 1995
1st middleweight: Shazada 400 K. Marathon 1995
1st place tie: 1994 Quilty

Price: $2,500 Australian = about $2,000 U.S. (at $1.00AU= $ .80US)
