Karen-

I'm glad you had such a great experience with the Easyboots and
Easyfoam. The Easyboot system is being used by more and more endurance
riders that are competing in parts of the country that are very rocky
or have hard packed road. The majority of the riders will continue to
shoe their horses and put Easyboots over the shoes when extra
protection and cushioning is needed.

The great benefit about putting Easyboots on just when needed is that
it allows the feet to remain tough. When you go to a ride or ride a
trail that is rocky or hard packed, put the boots over the steel shoes
and remove them when your finished. When the boots are used in this way
the foot stays tough and does not soften. When a horse is padded, the
bottom of the hoof breaks down due to moisture.

The biggest advantage to the Easyboot system is cushioning. Most
endurance riders put on between 30-70 miles of conditioning per week on
their horses. That does not even count races. Imagine what your legs
would feel like if you were running 10-20 miles each week in a steel
bottom shoe, or even a leather sole dress shoe. Your legs would not
last long. Now think back about your horse. A 1000 pound animal
traveling long distances with 150+ pounds on its back wearing steel
shoes. That must hurt!

Easyboots have been tested to absorb 80% more concushion than iron
shoes. If placed over iron shoes the absorbtion is also tremendous.
Over the years as your horse gets more and more miles under his belt,
Easyboots make a big difference. And the great thing about Easyboots
is that you can put them on only when needed.
