do any of you that use a vosal have any trouble with it rubbing/irritating
across the top of the nose? I have one of the latigo wrapped or lined or
whatever vosals but the leather started coming off the nose piece (rats,
literally :-) ) so it's covered with red vet wrap right now. I've used it
on 3 different horses and I have noticed a spot on each one after
consistent use.

Maybe it's my placement of it...where exactly are you supposed to put them
on the nose? I have it so that when the bars hang down loose they are not
below the chin. I ride on loose rein unless I am actually using the vosal.

Anyone else with this trouble? Do I just need to get it re-wrapped? Or wrap
it with something else?
