I have a question about the durability of tights.
I ride through brush quite often. The kind of
bushes that almost cut into jeans. I'd like
to get something that can hold up to brushes
with trees, bushes, and other such stuff without
tearing, ripping, running, or snagging badly.
So, what kind of riding/biking tights would hold up?

--Wendy,
Here is another plug for Carousel tights. I buy the nylon/lycra ones and love them. We often ride through Buckbrush, and Chaparral Pea, both of which are very very spiny. I have had very good luck with the tights, and almost no tears or snags. Can't believe it!
I even ride the nylon/lycra ones in hot summer.
Most I have ridden in 1 day is 50 miles. I have absolutely no bruising or sores. The combination of these tights, Sport Saddle, and Flex-ride stirrups has allowed me to ride farther at age 40 than I ever did in my 20's!
My friend and I did an extremely hard 38 mile ride the other day,\ more climbing than ever. We both got off several times and did some walking. Both of us expected to be sore the next day, but weren't!
