You can get them from United Vet Equine for $34.95. 1-800-328-6652.

It is like a watch with three sets of numbers (3 circles of

I used one of these and found it to be **terribly** inaccurate. It was off
at least five miles on a 12 mile loop! Maybe it was just my luck, or the
fact that my horse changes strides, gaits throughout the ride, I don't know.
As far as I could tell, the three sets of numbers you are supposed to go off
of didn't match any of my horses, so I sent it back. Like I said, the
closest it came was within five miles on a 12 mile loop - and I knew that
distance because I've driven in in the 4x4 to check. Also, the pedometer
(if I remember correct) only measured in increments of 7 miles - so if you
were to ride all day you'd have no idea really how far you went unless you
checked all the time to see how many times it went around. I never once got
an accurate reading with it.

Has anybody had any better experiences with these pedometers? My friend
also sent hers back for the same reasons. Maybe we were doing something
wrong?
