I originally tried the Circle Y version, purchased from Brown's Tack Shop
near Reading, PA 2 years ago. I bought the 16" seat size, no horn. The
saddle material was a suede type, very "sticky"--so much so I had trouble
dismounting, but no trouble being dumped--go figure. The panels/ring
attachment for the leathers portion were situated in such a way that I
was rubbed raw on the inside of my knee and down onto my calf--a very
large (50-cent piece or better in size) raw seeping wound, both legs. I
tried making a seat-saver device but couldn't get it to stay put. Also
within a couple of uses the pommel "tree/support" broke--just from normal
use or perhaps in the manufacture. The company made good on the saddle.
I opted to purchase a different saddle because of the rubbing problem
(also reported to me by 3 other people who had tried this particular
model). I think this saddle may be OK for very light use--it's
definitely not up to the standards of the Sport Saddle.

The database is expanding nicely. Still need info on Smith-Worthington,
Arabian Saddle Co, any other brands not yet mentioned.
