Step 1. Connect lead rope to halter. Take rope and put over the
Horse's neck. Near the halter, (and you'll have to experiment
to see just how "near" this is), fold the rope and start
back up.

Step 2. Take the end of the rope and wrap it around all three straight
parts of the rope.

Step 3. Take the end of the rope and put it through the loop
on the bottom.

Step 4. Pull the rope through the wrapping part of rope to make the
loop at the bottom tight against the end of the rope.
If you have done this correctly, you can slid the entire
hangman's knot along the rope from the clasp to the neck.
