Steph,
This is a good idea, though you need to be real careful how long you
let the syringes stand before you use them. Bacteria think applesauce and
electrolytes are wonderful!, so keep the syringes cold, and maybe pack the night before?
I think eudamonics used some sort of preservative to prevent spoiling.

Yep, tried this, but I tend to lose alot with Mr. Brownie not wanting
to swallow! Also with the large syringes, try and get the ones with the
large aperture (the ones used for lavage rather than injection). I find
it helps to put a short length of tubing on the end and then you can really
get it up into the corner of their mouths and minimize spillage. You can fit these
into the fanny pack and use a bulldog clip or gate clamp, or three way stopcock
to stop powder spilling out. I always tend to lose that darn little cap off the
end of the electrolyte syringes, and have to leave them behind any way! Dont
forget to wipe the corners of the mouth and lips after administration. Leaving
the electrolyte solution on the lips can cause them to burn.
