>Do you raise, breed, and sell them?

Do-g is just a little over a year and we are still deciding whether to breed
her. Lots of people have said they want one of her puppies so we might
breed her and see how it goes.

>Do they go along with you on conditioning rides?
Yes. She goes on our 10 mile loop with lots of hills and has no problem
staying up, or running out of energy.

Do they travel with you to endurance rides?
Yes. We take her everywhere. In fact she goes to work with me everyday and
has adjusted to the office quite well. She loves the clients and most like
her. She likes the dog biscuit at the bank and coffee stand, pouts if they
forget.

Is it true they dig up yard and pasture?
Some do, but Do-g has not so far. If we had critters there she would. She
kills mice, ground squirrels and jack rabbits. Darcy Bean has one and he
kills rock chucks too. He is bigger than Do-g.

Do they get along with cats?
Do-g found the kittens before we did and proceed to become their second
mother. She cleaned them stayed with them if mamma cat left them. She
carried them out to show them off to visitors, just like a mamma cat. She
is still friends with the one we kept. I have heard horror stories about
some that kill cats.

>What do you like/dislike most about them?
Smart, quick, more personality than any dog I have ever been around.

Sometime her energy level and desire to play does not coincide with my
energy level and desire to play. She loves to play.

I have heard lots of negative about them, but we have not had many problems
with her at all. She knows 'no' and I think that is important to help them
know who is top dog. Also, we don't leave her alone very much. When we do
she seems to handle it okay. We leave her in the camper when we ride and
she does great. (Once we left the venetian blinds down and she messed them
up trying to see out the window. Now we leave them up.)

It took me two years to find one, the wait was worth it. They cost around
$400-$500.

I wouldn't trade her for any other dog.
