While you have the blanket on, and before she is dry, try using you hair
drier on her. This will fluff up the hair while drying it. And it's faster
than walking her around till dry.

As long as you keep blanketing her, she will probably not get a good
winter coat. Try taking the blanket off first thing in the morning,
even if it is a bit chilly. If you have a lighter blanket, start
using that at night. Of course, if she keeps shivering, you'll need
to keep blanketing her.
