I think that the multiple loops into camp can get boring for the horse
but not mentally cruel unless its the first 50 for the horse. If the horse
is used to the mileage it pretty much knows when its done 50 miles. I would
not want to use a ride with many loops into camp for a first time 50. We have
a ride here in Michigan that come s back into camp like this and I and my
horse tend to get bored with the trail but she knows exactly how many loops
