HI all- What sort of effects do a mare's hormonal cycles have on her
performance as an endurance horse? ALso when it comes to metabolism-
aren't there changes in a mare's physiological response to her nutrition
and environment caused by hormone shifts? Are mares less able to handle
long distances than geldings? Thanks !-Amy
