[RC] RC] Bagged chopped hay - Maryben Stover - Roger Rittenhouse

MB has too many horses to feed :)

I use it in small amounts, like a pnd in the feed pan along with the regular feed if any. One gets the chop hay and soy pellets with the VitE-Se only. The others may get a 'ration' of a SR feed as needed for weight/work. I add a little water to mix in the supplements.

I have during bad times in the winter dumped a full bag on a clean section of ground.. and spread it out.
Nothing left.
But then they dont want the normal hay

I have mixed in a wheel barrow, 1/2 bag hay, 1/2 bag BP shreds, and 5 pnd of soybean pellets, Add water wait until the BP soaks up the water. mix it up then roll out to the pasture and shovel out piles of the 'slop'. I do this when it is frozen and really cold - like it has been for most of the winter - Only did it once this year.

I found Lucerne hay close, $14 a bag 35 pnd timothy. Closer then where I was going to get the Triple Crown.
