OK, time to eat crow. I'm looking at trucks. Got the news I'm not on the list 
of lay-offs so why not buy a truck? >g<

This one has Vortec 8.1L V8 gas and 5 speed Allison Automatic

Is this something I *want*? (I like the sound of it)  Will I get lower gas 
mileage? I haven't had any trouble towing this rig with a 1994 3/4 ton GMC.
