Re: [RC] Very Virtual Endurance - John Teeter - John TeeterOne of us is missing the point.I'm not sure there IS a point:)
VVRides have results and positions and are a very virtual competition. We have various placement awards (the minimal so far is a virtual rock that you virtually never receive). but there have been some high end awards (full price entry to multi-day Owyhee Canyonlands to last years VV March Maddness winner!). We have not figured out how to do BC yet; although I did announce a Best Compilation (BC) award to Flora last year because of the completely overwhelming effort she put out documenting her Very Virtual Endurance Experience (Stories, Histories of the Trails, Images, Track-Logs ... It was very much like being there with her as she rode the historical Virginia trails). Diane, when was the last time YOU did a CRI on your horse after a conditioning ride??? jt =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
