We have lots of 2-day rides in CT region, but have to go out of region for anything 3-days or longer.  We usually try to make at least one "road trip" a year...might make several this year.  I love 100s.  My husband has been wanting to do one for a while now on his Paso Fino.  There are several multidays we'd like to do sometime, particularly Grand Canyon and Bryce.  We even got so far as signing up for Grand Canyon last fall, but then something came up and we couldn't make it.  Last year was the year of "rides we didn't make it to," especially in the fall.  LOL  Hopefully 2009 will be better.

I just haven't done 100's due to the scheduling conflicts - I prefer multidays (and rarely do a one day 50), I especially like the 5 day rides and you can't do those and then a week or two later go and also do a 100 on the same horse.  I did at least have a horse complete the Swanton 100 and Virginia City 100 last year with another rider :).  Maybe this year I'll do more myself if the timing works out.
