several issues here - horses are NOT illegal, require a level of responsible input (care), in addition to a supply line of LEGAL vendors (vets, farriers, etc). and are MUCH harder to hide:). I believe there is a major difference between the average horse-addicted person and "collectors" who have others issues; I don't have any particular understanding of other addictions because I have several horses and can't imagine living without them - because I did and I could, and because it is legal:). Having an alcy dad, I dont' see the similarities.
