I am hosting a Martha Olivo 5-Day "Hoof Groom" Certification Course April 2-6 in Pilot Hill, CA near Auburn. Martha has certified hoof grooms in 26 states and 4 countries. You may have seen her at the '05 AERC Convention in Reno dissecting hooves right in the middle of the trade show floor, and as part of the Hoof Panel with Gene Ovincek. Her course will familiarize students with the anatomy and physiology of the hoof mechanism and prepare graduates to be hoofcare providers or just provide for their own horses' care.
