Sponging whether hot or hot and humid has always
given my horse a great pick me up. At a vet check, picking up a bucket lid
and fanning helps to cool too. The best part of sponging is the water
fights. And it is fun to try to hit a puddle with the sponge while at an
extended trot. I figure this, one does what works for one's horse.
