If you know of anyone with horses in need. Tell them that Washoe County Animal Services has great resources to help them. There are probably 40-50 blankets/sheets available for distribution right now and they are available to Washoe on request. They also have access to hay and feed.
Karen Stark is probably the best person to talk to. The number there is 353-8900. They can choose option #4 to ask for Karen directly.
