[RC] ipods and other techie thoughts - Cindy Collins



Hi, Angie (and RC). I would LOVE to have an iphone, but AT&T is their only carrier and we don't have them available here. If Verizon ever is allowed to carry them, I'll have one in a second. I'm a total Mac junkie. I do have an ipod touch and I LOVE it. It has wireless internet and I do all of my email on it at home and when I travel. It also has really cool applications, all my photos and my exercise info., along with the expected songs and videos. Sadly, since it isn't a phone, it doesn't have GPS and so I can't use it for VV rides though I do log in my rides on its exercise programs.

My GPS (we have four around the house) of choice is my Garmin Forerunner 205 that I wear on my wrist. It's relatively cheap and simple to use. It works great with Motion Based and Google Earth. Cindy
