Clint came to the OD in 1979 i think and he was a
'big deal' and all the girls clamored around him and some guys too. He
came to do the 100 and as i rode by Shenandoah River Outfitters which was about
40 miles he was sitting on the porch on the swing. He was jovial and not
distressed his ride was over and again...the people were around
him.
Its really nice to see people who are famous do
Endurance and have a good time doing it.
He was the highlight of that years OD. I
finished on Jose again after an all nighter about 4:30 the next morning.:)
