[RC] portable hot bath (for the horse!) - Jill Carr
Has anyone used one of these hot bath units? The Hott
Wash unit sells for about $350.00, and I’m trying to decide if having one
out in my barn is cheaper or easier than installing a hot water heater in the
barn. During the summer, I use sun-warmed hose water for rinsing off the
horses, but during the winter, the hose water is too cold. My geldings
REALLY like warm water for cleaning sheaths and faces, and everything else for
that matter, so I’m curious if anyone has had any experience with these. Adding
hot water to icy water troughs would be easier that way rather that carrying out
buckets of hot water from the house. Is it economical to use; does it
WORK; can you really wash a whole horse with a 4 gallon tank; does it mix
hot/cold water reliably, etc.?
