I agree with Kathy...I think you should take advantage of Paul's generous offer.? Give him a chance to see what he can do with your horse.? As Kathy said, sometimes one just has to outlast 'em one time...? <G>?

We have Paso Finos in addition to Arabians, and I *swear* every one of those little horses (the Pasos, not the Arabs) has a fertile mule somewhere in its pedigree!! ?Stubborn, pig-headed little creatures!!!? As my dad used to say, they could piss off the Good Humor man.? Pick a fight with them, you'll lose.? Try to stay calm and "out stubborn" them, you'd better have a LOT of time on your hands.? But that is the only way to win with the darn critters.??However,?once you prove that you *are* more pig-headed than they are and will not stop asking, they remember it and the next time you ask them to do that thing, there is little or no battle.? Of course, there is always something new for them to say "NO" to, and a new round of "who's more stubborn" to hash out.? LOL? One of my Arabs has some of those tendencies too, so I get lots of practice.? Fortunately, it's my husband who usually rides the Pasos.? :)

There are some pretty simple, non-violent ways to get him to load, and we can get this done.
