RE: [RC] Sponsoring Junior Riders - rides2far@xxxxxxxxA not so well known fact is that many experienced juniors on well broke, experienced horses do a great service sponsoring adults on green horses. It's a great arrangement so long as the junior is capable. Many is the time my junior has saved my hide by putting their "kid horse" in front of mine and slowed things down a bit. The beauty of having a junior for a riding partner is that they owe you so they don't have a problem with riding the pace you require for your green horse. Next year will be the first time I've started a young horse without my own junior to get me through and I dread being at the mercy of the pack!
