Actually, temperature probably makes a bigger difference than air pressure.

And yes, hot water is lighter than cold water down to about 4 deg C (just 
barely above freezing).? After it freezes, it gets lighter (which is why ice 
floats), and also why steam rises (since water, if it gets sufficiently hot 
becomes not only ligher than colder water, but also lighter than air).
