The highway was built.. But over time
could not sustain the vibration from over weighted tractor trailers trucks..
Hauling ass through the gorge, a narrow passage way, shaking the
ground on uneven payment caused by heavy loads put upon the payment. Eventually
the rocks came a tumbling down... This had to happen and finally did...And will
happen again... DOT in North Carolina may need to regulate the weight of tractor
trailer trucks traveling through the very scenic, picturesque gorge. Too
bad this happened... Buddy
