[RC] Spook Run bit to borrow? - rides2far@xxxxxxxxAnybody going to Spook run Saturday who could loan me a 4 3/4" bit with a little curb action just for the ride? 7 is light as a feather at home but at the last 2 rides has been rooting me out of the saddle. He's still got that ridiculous muscle under his neck from eating out of trees when a starvation case and so his yank is just about more than I can stand on a good day. Sooo...with a ride to do Saturday I went out yesterday and loaded & unloaded two big truck loads of heavy oak firewood and now my forearms are so weak it was hard to wad up paper to build a fire last night! I'd go buy a bit at a store but they'd all be 5" and I'd rather get one that fits when I have time to order. I have a Kimberwick solid mouthpiece with a low port but I was thinking about maybe 4" shanks. He's used to a full cheek snaffle but I tried him out with a friend's bit with shanks the other day and he was OK with it.
